Residential and School Programs

  • Bayes Achievement Center provides a residential treatment program that fosters a warm, family-like atmosphere similar to home life. Students participate in household chores, meal preparation, and recreational activities such as games, swimming, and sports, while enjoying barbecues on weekends. All treatment settings maintain a 1:3 staff-to-student ratio, ensuring trained professionals meet students' daily needs. Consistent behavior therapy is implemented across all environments to aid the generalization of skills. Treatment is tailored to each student following thorough evaluations and is not limited to medication. Under trained medical supervision, medication use for behavior control is gradually reduced, enabling students to learn in a natural environment.

  • Nicholas Hobbs, a pioneer in child psychology, emphasized the importance of helping every child develop competence, particularly in their academic work. Many of our students, due to previous failures in school, have come to believe that misbehavior is their only strength. By breaking these negative cycles and offering high-quality, individualized education, we enable them to achieve success for the first time. Participation in science fairs, history fairs, talent shows, field days, musicals, and various school projects fosters this success. As their achievements grow, so does their self-confidence, initiating a positive behavioral cycle that supports their transition to a less-restrictive environment, graduation, and pursuit of college or meaningful career opportunities.
