The BAC Difference
Bayes Achievement Center (BAC) is a residential treatment center and day school for special needs students (ages 6-22) with significant behavioral challenges. Licensed by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services and approved by the Texas Education Agency, we support students with various exceptionalities, including autism, emotional and behavioral disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Our students share the common trait of behaviors that hinder success in less restrictive settings, such as aggression, self-injury, property destruction, and severe oppositional behaviors. For over 30 years, we have effectively helped hundreds of students thrive academically and socially, and collaborated with parents, teachers, and district personnel to create effective programs and interventions for successful transitions back home.
WHY BAC?
Unconditional Care
We provide unwavering support to every student, regardless of behavioral challenges. Our commitment ensures that misbehavior does not lead to denial of placement or expulsion. We remain dedicated until the student returns home or graduates.Creating Environments for Success
Meaningful behavior change thrives in engaging environments. Our residential homes are designed to be warm and comforting, while our classrooms feature modern educational technology and skilled teachers. Students enjoy regular community field trips and participate in various events each year. Our dedicated "Teaching Parents" build supportive relationships with students while maintaining clear behavioral expectations.
